Java 8 support & Blank viewers

iGP Manager's race viewers are now compatible with Java 8 which is currently in beta testing. The update does not affect version 7 installations, which is the currently recommended stable release of Java.
This should help anyone who is using version 8, either for personal reasons or because they were forced to upgrade by their workplace.
If you are experiencing any issues getting the iGP Manager viewers to load, this is certainly an issue with your Java installation. The instructions and guidelines below resolve the problem in almost every case.
General guidelines:
- Only have one version of Java installed at a time
- Uninstall all out-of-date versions and only have the latest version of Java
- You may need to ensure you have administrator privileges on the computer (although only one person has said this was necessary)
This survey will walk you though the most common solution to repair blank screen issues. If for any reason the issue is still not resolved, please post your console log in the area provided at the end of the survey (instructions are provided on how to do this too).

Yes Alex few wee minor clichés, Open your viewer let it load. clicking on maximise to make it full screen will cause it to stop responding. don't close it and reopen it. just tap your mouse in the address bar and push the F5 key to refresh the page. then it will reload in full screen. any time it stops responding after that just use F5 again. does it few times with me when changing fuel loads
java 8 not working right on mine
Java 8 works fine on the free viewer. Everything works. Long as you do not try to move the chat box, weather box or pit strategy box from the centre of the screen. Try to move them from where they open and the viewer will stop working.
Tuesday I buy 2D viewer :)
A day after release we found an issue with the Free viewer and Java 8, this has been resolved now. There are no known issues with the 2D viewer and Java 8 or Java 7.
I'll try tomorrow.
With no modification, java 8 was running (launching + loading + display onscreen ) today but crashing just after the timings were appearing ( free view )

Java 8 should be working now.
If your still seeing white or black screens. Add the viewer link to the Java Control Panel, Under the security tab, Exception Site List.

Java Control Panel can be found in Control PanelPrograms on Win Vista,7, 8, 8.1. Or search Configure Java in the start button.
not working on my computer, java 8 = white screen, java 7 = black screen. I had to take my laptop in order to connect.
keep the 7, the 8 is in beta test.
lol .... and I just finished uninstalling Java 8 and reinstalling 7.
